Welcome to
16th Century Coaching Inn
Welcome to the Tytherleigh Arms, a family-run inn and restaurant
in the glorious westcountry.
Situated on the idyllic Devon/Dorset border, the historic Tytherleigh Arms offers a perfect rural getaway with all the modern comforts you’d expect.
A former coaching inn dating back to the 16th century, the Tytherleigh already has a fantastic reputation with locals and visitors alike. A seasonal menu featuring the best fresh local produce guarantees a fantastic taste of the west whatever time of year you choose to visit.
Reopening
After a great deal of thought, weighing up the pro’s and con’s, we have decided to remain closed until 19th May. Obviously the unpredictability of the English weather has had a major play, but also it gives us and our staff a chance to get away and see family and friends (who like so many in hospitality haven’t been able to do this since last March) before we get ready to open with all guns blazing for what we hope will be an extremely busy summer.
Our final takeaway will be this Saturday 10th April.
We would sincerely like to thank all those that have supported us throughout lockdown. It really has kept us sane and focused for at least part of the many weeks since closing the doors back in January.
Our accommodation is available on a room only basis from Monday 12th April.
This is ideal if you want to come and visit family and friends or just escape the same four walls (2 night minimum and breakfast hamper provided).
We will be re-opening on Wednesday 19th May for lunch & dinner
